Irvine Terrace is a community within Corona del Mar bounded on the North by Pacific Coast Highway, on the South by Bayside Drive, on the East by Avocado Ave and on the West by Jamboree Road.

Construction of the original 384 Irvine Terrace homes began in 1952 and were predominately traditional and ranch style in design. Nearly all homes are single story as the height is restricted by the community CC&Rs ( Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions).

Those homes located on the bluff side of Bayadere Terrace and Dolfin Terrace are elevated above Newport Harbor such that they enjoy sweeping views of Balboa Island, Newport Harbor, the Pacific Ocean and Santa Catalina Island.

Over the years nearly all homes along the bluff as well as a good number of homes on the interior of the community have been either remodeled or rebuilt. Today there are a wide variety of architectural styles to choose from when considering the purchase of a home in Irvine Terrace.
