Newport Landing, via EventBrite (purchase tickets here), is providing whale watching tours through the end of February 2020 for about 50% off the normal cost.
February occurs in the middle of the Gray Whale migration season where tens of thousands of whales pass by the Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Newport Coast near shore areas. Each tour lasts about 2.5 hours and provides an opportunity for participants to view several whales, dolphins and other sea life up close and personal.
If you would like an in depth look at the operation of the vessel during a whale watching cruise, at an additional charge, there are seats available in the captain’s cabin where all the planing and action takes place. From that location you will be able to view all vessel control planing and control activity as well as observe the other passengers on the deck below and the whales in the water.
